Adventure Medical Thermo-Lite II Single Bivvy
With luck you’ll never have to spend an unplanned night out, but it’s a good idea to be prepared with this emergency shelter. Bivy returns up to 80% of your body heat thanks to a nonconductive, vaporized-aluminum layer sandwiched between layers of polyolefin. Thermo-Lite II material on the bottom of the bivy has the same features as the original Thermo-Lite, but is 30 percent stronger for added durability. Nonwoven, tear-resistant fabric creates a substantial, weather-resistant cocoon that won’t rip or blow away in high winds. Easy In, Easy Out Entry® makes this bivy sack easier to use than a simple sheet of reflective material. Adjustable side opening and foot vent lets you regulate the heat inside, so you needn’t be too warm or clammy. Extremely compact and light, it packs into its own small stuff sack; packed size is approximately 7 x 4 inches, so it fits easily in your backpack. Hand washable and reusable; can be repaired with duct tape if necessary.
